Tide Sweater is an oversized pullover with a timeless silhouette. It is worked top-down with thoughtful details that create a seamless and elegant construction. Rib edges and a small back split add character, while the clean shape makes it a versatile wardrobe staple you’ll reach for again and again.

Size:
1 (2) 3 (4) 5
Bust circumference:
108 (118) 128 (134) 142 cm [42½ (46½) 50½ (52¾) 56 in]
Length (center back, excluding neckband):
58 (60) 62 (64) 65 cm [22¾ (23½) 24½ (25¼) 25½ in]
Choosing the right size:
Tide Sweater is designed with approx. 30–35 cm [12–14 in] of positive ease, gradually decreasing in the larger sizes. Sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 are intended to fit a bust circumference of: 70–80 (80–90) 90–100 (100–115) 115–130 cm [27½–31½ (31½–35½) 35½–39½ (39½–45¼) 45¼–51¼ in].
Example: If your bust circumference is 95 cm [37½ in], size 3 (with a finished bust measurement of 128 cm [50½ in]) will give you 33 cm [13 in] of positive ease.
Suggested needles:
4 mm [US 6], 40 and 80/100 cm [16 and 32/40 in] circular needles and 3.5 mm [US 4], 40 and 80/100 cm [16 and 32/40 in] circular needles.
Gauge:
20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 in] in stockinette stitch.
Note: Check your gauge by knitting a swatch. Wash and block your swatch before measuring. When dry, count the number of stitches per 10 cm [4 in].
If you have more stitches than given, switch to a larger needle size.
If you have fewer stitches, switch to a smaller needle size.
