Serene Scarf is a scarf knitted in fisherman´s rib, where the side traditionally considered the wrong side of the structure is used as the right side in the Serene-series. This means that what is typically regarded as the right side in fisherman´s rib serves as the wrong side in this design. The instructions in the pattern are written from this perspective, so when something is referred to as the “the right side”, it refers to the right side of the Serene-series.
The scarf is knitted from tip to tip, starting with increases until the desired width is reached, followed by decreases back to the other tip.

15 cm at its widest.
Length:
approx. 170 cm from tip to tip.
Needles:
5,5 mm (60 cm).
Gauge:
14 sts x 32 r on needle 5,5 mm = 10 x 10 cm in structure after washing and blocking.
Note: Check your gauge by knitting a swatch. Wash and block the swatch. Once dry, count the stitches over 10 cm. If you have more stitches than stated, switch to larger needles. If you have fewer stitches, switch to smaller needles.
Important: The structure used in Serene Scarf changes significantly after washing. Therefore you must wash and block your swatch before measuring. You will also need to wash and block the sweater when you are finished.

125 gr Lang Yarns Cashmere + (25 gr = 45 m).
